Joined Sembawang CC one day trip to Muar (Durian eating). It was actually Jeanne and her family joining the tour and I goes again "Me! Me! Me! I want to go too." So lucky that there is one more slot for me to join in. Cost only S$50 with lunch, durian and dinner covered. Worth the $$. Jeanne, her sister and mum along with her ah yi will join these CC tours as they are cheap , convenient as the pick up point is near and worth for money.
I had to wake up super duper early to report at Sembawang at 6.00am. Was praying hard not to miss the time before I fall asleep. But lucky enough I manage to make it at around 6.10am. There is still one more couple who have not arrive and the bus is waiting for them. Jeanne was still saying that Heng ah I am not the last one.
Teng Teng Teng (sound of bus moving and shaking) a bit too exaggerating haha.. The journey is very boring as there is nothing to do except chatting and chatting.
Cam whore
Our first stop - Coffee shop at 王后. We are stopping for breakfast and pay attention to the sandwiches on my hand. Made by my darling for me! ** Save money! Yummy!!! After resting for a while we travel to YoYo a local snacks shop in Muar.
Wow so many snacks.. can't decide which to buy
CrocsNext stop we visit a temple and there is stalls selling dried provision. Jeanne n I was attracted to this stray puppy instead. All of us crowding around it and taking photo of the puppy so cute....

I bought some mee sua and biscuits too. Almost all the tour group member bought the mee sua, so do I.
When we walk to the temple we saw this Ah Ma selling the same things as well. Oh I make purchases again to help her out. Haha in the end I got 2 bags of the same product.

Nothing to do as we are not offering our prayers, we walk around taking photos and found this abandon tank. Wonder how they get over there?
Most anticipated time is Lunch time!!! While waiting of our meal, took lots of photo of this little boy. He is so cute and was playing most of the time with his mini umbrella.

This is nice, they use nu bang to slice and fry it. Nice nice. Not bitter at all.
Next up a very famous temple where the water from the well is believe to bring luck and wealth. People use it to bath, wash hands and feets, wash their car plate or bring home to wear door number. What ever you can think of. We pull a pail of water up and soak our camera in. Then Jeanne will buy 4D using both camera model number.
The journey is long and tiring. So the tour guide bought bingo along which we bought at RM1 per piece and the winner will get the money (pool together).
The air conditioner is leaking at the seat in front of us. The tour member keep thinking of ideas to trap the drip. End up they pin a plastic bag up. Good idea!!!
Temple visit again. This is the famous one in Batu Bahat where you try to touch the fish which will bring people luck in 4D. This is my 2nd time there in 6 months. So of course I have an older post on this temple visit. More photos is there.
This time we walk to the Lovers Bridge. It is 5 minutes from the temple and the sun is melting us. Took lots of crazy photo on the bridge! The hot sun did not spoil our fun.

Motorcycle selling Indian rojak.
Fresh kuek buluh and there is a long Q for this.
Yeah. Finally durian time. We went to the tour group organiser home in Msia as they own a durian plantation and they went to chose the best to save for us. Yummy. All of us snatching even the little boy also.
Straight after durian eating is dinner time. What a early dinner. Hope I can fit them into my tummy. This restaurant is quiet ulu and there is no shops nearby except for all the coaches. Should be a tourist restaurant.
Yum Seng
Their pineapple is super sweet n tasty. Love the way they cut it. Convenient to eat.
Although we had lots of durian we still manage to squeeze all the food into our tummy!
Sun set... Time to make our way home and leave our footprints behind!
