Welcome Toffy!

Dang Dang Dang Dang...

Let's put our hands together and welcome - Toffy. My new family member, bunny, which becomes the 5th mouth I have to feed.

Toffy was born on 25 Apr @ Vincent home. He bought 2 pair of big big rabbit sometime in Feb and they gave birth to so many.

On 20 May, Vincent Yeo bought all his bunnies to office for Juliana to chose and hoping who would wanna adopt the rest. Alvin came running into our room and say “Xiao Wei! Xiao Wei! Vincent got rabbit for adoption want to go see?” Doreen aka Xiao Mei and I went over and saw all 7 rabbits. They are so tiny and adorable.

Excited! I asked to adopt one too. By then only left with 2 bunnies not chosen by anyone. One is brown grey and the other similar to a tiger with lots of colour all over body. I find the brown grey one so cute and quiet, so decided this is it. I want it! Vincent agreed and Yeah I got a new fren. Hui Zhen asked me on msn immediately do I like my new pet. A a a how she get to know so fast? Must be Alvin. So we started to discuss on what name we should give the bunny. As usual Hui Zhen started with food…. French Fries, Hot Dog, Cappuccino, blah blah blah… Hey it’s a bunny. Imagine shouting ‘French Fries’ and a bunny hop out. So ?!?! strange right. Again she suggests Toffee and I’m like hey that good. So ta ta the bunny is named TOFFY!

30 May, I got Toffy and we were playing with it in office. Finally at night I bought it home. It’s seems very nervous and too quiet. Think suddenly remove Toffy from mother & sibling is a torture for it. I am like praying for it every now and then as too worried that it would not make it. But I trust that Toffy is strong enough!

Angry – the pellet I bought from Serangoon was expiring this month (Jun 08). I bought all my bunny stuff there and they know I am quite new to handling a baby bunny. How can the shop still sell me expiring pellet. So angry that to find a pet shop so inconsiderate. How could my Toffy finish 2 packs in a month times.

Lesson learned –
To look at the expiry date and calculate if your pet can finish it.

Curious abt it surrounding

5 Jun, 1st time cleaning the cage and my brothers were complaining of it being very smelly. Ya it is smelly as it’s been from 30 May till 5 Jun which is 6 days already. Fenced up my brother’s room door with a box and I’m blocking on side with my room door wide open. Toffy came out on it’s own (it do not allow me to carry it, think bonding not strong enough yet =( and scare of me ba) and start to walk in circles around the area. After inspecting the space available it start running around dashing across the front of me. So cute… as the marble floor is a bit too smooth for rabbit, as Toffy is dashing it could brake and will knock into something. So funny. 1st time since I got it I find Toffy so cuteee…
