your light will shine when all else fades...: Zoo

Had planned to visit the Zoo on Sun. Woke up in the morning feeling excited, boom boom, cloud is crying hard. So sad, nice weather to rot in bed but bad weather to go out n walk.

Called Ting asap and asked her if she still wanna go to the zoo and she is like go la since we planned. Maybe it will stop raining later in the afternoon. I am like ok lor. Bring myself out of bed faster bath and clean Toffy cage. Grab the walking frame which I promise to give to Siti and ran off to catch bus to Tampines.

Oh the walking frame. Dunno why Siti suddenly ask abt it on Fri and I was like ya I think I have it somewhere in my home do u need it? She wanna get it for a auntie who stays alone and had difficulty in walking. I found it and wash it before handing to Siti hands on Sun morning. She was at Tampines so early around 8.45am. Woo too early for me. Lucky her husband to be is with her rotting.

I was suppose to reach Tampines @ 10am to collect the bags we bought from a spree. Hurried to the meeting place aft passing Siti and wow got 5 ppl queuing up beside the car. Really grateful to the organiser to make an effort to pack, inform and meet us outside. She had even prepare nice nice bugis street kind plastic bag to put the bags in for us. Best organiser I seen so far. Then I hurried back to take bus back home. Start ransacking the bags on bus.... Joyce ordered 2 bags and one of it is like so BIG. Wonder if she would carry it, tink for travelling ba.

Ran back home n wait for Doreen to reach and pass me the Zoo tickets. Thank you for helping me get the tixs first. Xin ku ni le! Showed her Toffy amazing 1 side droop ear, Doreen was shocked also. So worried for Toffy =z Rot a while Ting reach my house le. My xiao di also finish cooking le. Packed our lunch box and yeah.. Remember the song

We are like so frequent to the zoo end up we start catching animal feeding time. So cute lor.. The lion eat until so gentle but the merkeets ate like they hate the meat. Haha... so contradicting. In between is our feeding time. Went to a pavilion and sat down beside some aunties and start unpacking our lunch box. ah ya nv take photo. These aunties are so cute.. They speak to themselve saying something like you see ppl bring pack lunch box to eat. So pai seh.

Our lunch - ting ma ma prepare tomato egg, sotong balls and pig trotter while my xiao di got pork balls, fish cake shape into bamboo kind and plain rice. So full, lucky didnt bring alot. Everything was like just nice. Yum Yum. Thks ting lor.

So tire. We left zoo at around 6 like that rush to Yishun 10 to catch "Don't mess with Zohan". The movie is so funny lor... gd rest after a long walk. Ta ta home sweet home. Zzzzzz....
