Went into Msia JB to attend a friend's wedding some time back from 6 to 7 Sep 08. Went in JB very very late - midnight of 5 Sep. Reaching my god ma's place at around 2am on 6 Sep. Less human traffic if crossing into Msia late at night however public bus service available are limited. Muz be pro in squeezing first, cuz have to fight with a crowd to get onto the bus. Scary! I missed the 1st bus and was being push onto a 2rd bus. You do not need to move, just follow the crowd.
Oh who is getting married? Of course is Zhi Kang la. Among my friends he is the one most unexpected to get married so young and early. Guesss true love touches his heart and soul. A little story heard from him - he got to know his wife on this yr's Valentine day. So romantic. Love at first sight maybe thus decision to get married comes... ...
Thinking why wedding drag for 2 days. Big major one?? No lor. Is preparation on 6 Sep and actual wedding on 7 Sep. I keep thinking that on 6 Sep I will be busy doing this doing that. But actually what I did on 6 Sep was company groom (Zhi Kang), groom mum and bride to Giant super market for some last mintue shopping for fruits and beverages.
Then Zhi Kang and Wen Bin went back Spore to stay till midnight for chinese custom tradition of combing hair at midnight before fetching bride's elder sister n husband n niece into JB to attend wedding on 7 Sep. Me... Left with the army of women - Zhi Kang's grandma, Zhi Kang's Mum, 2 of Zhi Kang's aunt and bride. All went out for facial to prepare for the next day wedding. Helping out became enjoying.
On actual day nothing much to do also, the sisters blocking door is only me n 2 other cute mei mei. No more. So sian didn't do anything terrifying to the groom. Ok.. we are not super close so don't do too much if not the bride will kill us ba. Then had a early dinner at around 5 plus. Zhi Kang had too much drink n end up drunk plus bad temper. Actually planned to drive back to Spore straight after dinner. Wen bin n Crystal n I. But Zhi Kang's drunk and no one except the bride n Wen Bin can handle him. End up we went back to Zhi Kang's grandma place and wait wait wait. Reach Spore quite late... But still very happy to see him getting married.
