Lunch with Hui Shan, her younger sister and brother at Charcoal on 22 Nov. I had chosen to visit Charcoal as I had never been there before and staff are entitled to a 20% discount. We order a west coast salad and duck confit salad. Shan had salmon n ice lemon tea, sis had fish & chip n orange juice, bro had chicken breast with risotto and earl grey tea and I had lamb shrank n mocktail sour power. Salad was nice!!! However main course are so so only. I had the highly recommended lamb shrank n it is really very tasty. For the others they didn't really enjoy their food as it is not to their liking. Oh they served bread also (fine dining style) and we had a fill munching on it.

Went to d Kranji Farm Resort, took the shuttle bus from Yew Tee mrt foc. Been curious how the place looks like and wow it's so back to the nature. There is chalet which u can book and they have small mini shops for rental. They rented the shop which comes along with the long plot of land behind it. There are shop sellings goreng pisang, friuts ice n juices and there is even one shop renting out motorised bicycle. Place itself is not very very big so all u need is around 1 hr plus to explore.

The only makan place there is a restaurant owned by the management. They have fish tanks with live seafood for guest selection behind the restaurant. Didn't went over so unsure about the price range however I saw some special seafood not normally available.

Live octopus After visiting my pa pa, I actually planned to go for a swim at the Jurong East swimming complex however the skys turning dark. As I am heading out of d Kranji on bus, rain droplet start pouring and view are limited. All block by the raining water. So change of plan, went IMM instead with Pui Shing and had Crystal Jade for dinner. Wow costed us $75 n he is treating me so Hooray!!! Thanks Pui Shing!! The five grain rice tasted so so so nice. Next time I will find more kakis n go together again.
Went home early and sing birthday song with my da di and ate the below cake. Only 2 of us eating it, a little sian...

My office colleagues had actually given me a present on the night of our Family day during a BBQ session. So touch... Celebrate with Jacelyn whose birthday is on 25 Nov.

On 24 Nov Monday, 5 of us - Jess, Sabrina, Jeanne, Jacelyn and me went out again to IMM to have dinner celebrations again. Ah yo.... we keep on eating and eating non stop. Went Ichiban Sushi and was supposed to be on dutch but wow they are treating Jacelyn n I for this dinner. Birthday means more food. But food there seriously is nice. Their sets are huge n filling. Lucky we only order 3 to share among ourselves. If not we will be wasting more food.
Whose the next one coming up?? Oh my ex-colleagues, Joyce had the whole nation celebrating with her on 31 Dec. Muz start to plan about what present to get for her.
