Headed straight to the Harbourfront Ferry Terminal and board the penguin ferry to Batam terminal.
Upon our arrival at Batam a local tour agent came to fetch us. All on board the coach and we head straight to this bridge that links all the smaller islands together. The tour guide is those happy cheerful type whereby he keeps on talking non-stop even when no one response. Ha ha.. He told us a lot of interesting facts about Indonesia and aaa I can't remember most of them now. But 1 impt point to remember is when you are travelling to Indonesia, do change your currency when you reach Indonesia. As they change their currency very frequently that Singapore $$ changer mostly carries older version which could not be used in Indonesia anymore. So remember lor.
Took a group shoot on the bridge
Ting Ting in the middle of the road
Me in the middle of the road (why my photo is slanted???)
Ting Ting ah...
Next stop, we head to Camp Vietnam (sight seeing). Actually there is nothing much there. They bought us to this Catholic Church which has a small temple beside it. So similar to Singapore where they have different enthic religion worship places side by side. After which they bought us up higher on the hill to see this big Chinese Temple. The surrounding are all trees and it is very peaceful and quiet.

Last stop, we are at this shopping mall for free & easy shopping. Ting wanted to find a silk tie for Kumar but we couldn't manage to find any decent ones. Was tire of walking around the mall. Oh I am very very happy to find A&W. Been so long that it had been closed down. The ones in Indonesia is so different from past Singapore's A&W. But it is still very delicious.
