Again. I went to Kluang to visit Gong Gong Po Po. Been running there quite frequently. Actually not really. Only went twice. Saw a strange sight early in the morning. A dog patiently looking after bunches of bananas preventing them being attack by the birds. It does look funny asking such a big dog to do nothing but staring at so many bananas. Cute. I was laughing out so loud when I saw this and next time I did was to snap it down. Ta Ta.Soon Fatt's mother was talking about this temple in Batu Pahat where many people strike 4D after touching the fish. Sound unbelievable. She is the evidence as she strike 4D before, after visiting the temple. Drove around 1.5hrs to Batu Pahat with the driver - Soon Fatt, his mum, Gong Gong, Po Po and me. I had not taken anything for breakfast so we stop over a while in Batu Pahat for a quick meal before heading to the temple. Order mixed vegetables rice and I had porridge.
Both of us ordered milk tea - mine ice, his hot. Take note of the COLOUR. Mine ice milk tea on the left look milky and taste so too. His hot milk tea on the right look thicker (a i dunno about the taste didn't try). Am upset as these 2 drinks were made by the same auntie but the standard is so much different.
Drive further in and keep on driving and driving and we think we lost our way. They were saying a the place is not so deep in ah ya made the wrong turn. So out we go again and ah ya we should take the next turn not this turn. Lucky they notice it fast or else I wonder where will we be heading to?
Reached. There are quite a number of cars around and we have no choice but to park at this pathetic little spot and a Uncle is collecting RM2 per vehicle. We park at the same time as another uncle, he refuses to pay Rm2 and wanted to give RM1 instead. He was arguing that the space doesn't belongs to anyone, why should he pay? But the Uncle station there insist that it is his space. So he drove off. Of course we paid. Why bother troubling yourself drive up and down when you can park in peace with only RM2 spent. But why the Uncle have the right to block the space and charge all of us for parking??!?!?!
Alight from the car, walk a little distance through shop houses and do you see the crowd right at the end. There is where the temple is located. Our final destination. Wow! It is by the beach, very windy but there ray from the sun is burning me away slowly. Was busy wow-ing at the statues and taking photos.
This is not the actual temple we are visiting. It is just part of it. Look at the colours they used. So bright and cheerful. Think this is the Dragon God for the Sea - 海龙王!
Most of the stalls are selling these giant crackers. Bought 10 pcs of it and it comes with condiment - chilli sauce and sweet sauce (both watery). Yummy!!!
