Was out for a 2 days HR and Payroll software training at No. 7 Jalan Kilang and had lunch at ABC Brickworks Food Centre. A super big hawker and I think it is renovated recently as it is very clean and tidy. I order plain thosai, garlic naan and fried chicken for lunch during my 1st day of training. While eating, saw quite a number of peope having sumptous mango ice. Look delicious.
At the end of the training, I went back to takeaway plain thosai, garlic naan and mutton curry home. The stall owner even asked me "Do I like Indian food?". I answered "Of Course! If not I would not be here buying takeaway." I bought korean mixed rice also. It is cheap. Only $4.20 inclusive of the container. Yummy. Greedy me also bought the famous mango ice which I had been eyeing since lunch. Oh it is Mango Milk Ice selling for only $2 and they give you half of a small mango. Worth the $$. But by the time I get home, it is not mango milk ice anymore. It becomes milk with mango chunk. All the ice melted.
Second day into the course we went to the same food centre. I tried the korean pork set (hot plate) and it is not so fantastic but cheap. Finished my meal fast, I manage to find time to enjoy the mango milk ice. 好好吃！！！
Oh recently just realise the basketball court opposite my HDB block had no basketball net stand. I was like HUH?!?!?! What happen? Cheng Shin (my youngest brother) was laughing at me saying "You mean you don't now? It has been removed for quite some time." Oh I am thinking maybe there are too many neighbours complaining about the noise in the night. But what will happen to this empty space then?
Sabrina bought some cute biscuits to work. Couple fishes. She got this from his Dad hampers. It taste nice too, very buttery.
